Vulcraft helped restore Detroit’s historic Palmer Park Bandshell by replacing its deteriorating wood framing with eight custom radial steel trusses—each uniquely engineered to preserve the structure’s iconic conical silhouette. Working closely with JDH Engineering and Ross Structural Steel, the team overcame complex design challenges outside standard parameters, delivering precision fabrication and streamlined installation. The result is a durable steel structure that honors the original landmark while ensuring it will serve the community for generations to come.
